
Guayaki Sustainable Rainforest Products is a tea company implementing the perfect combination of ecology and technology. They distribute 100% organic rainforest-grown yerba mate to North American consumers in an effort to sustain and nurture the South American rainforest and its peoples.
Their growth created a need for a bigger building with more office and warehouse space and a more strategic location providing a better shipping vein. While maintaining their network we worked on a strategic plan to transport and bring the whole nerve center online over the weekend.
To do this, we used Microsoft Project to lay out the priorities of each system, communicate each system’s dependencies and establish communication as soon as possible.
This was also a great opportunity to really leverage remote support since our office is over 300 miles away. From our remote location, we maintain all their computers, protect them from viruses and security vulnerabilities, and ensure that all systems are stable.
Digital Foundation has managed our IT and networking needs for many years now at Guayaki SRP, Inc. They are always available when we need them, and their emphasis on preventative maintenance and utilizing current technologies keeps those service calls to a minimum.
